About us
A technology company building enterprise software and AI solutions in Addis Ababa.
ABA Nexus Technologies develops software that helps businesses run their operations with clarity.
Company overview
ABA Nexus Technologies builds enterprise software platforms and AI-powered solutions for real-world business and operational challenges. We are based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Our primary commercial product is IBP — Inventory & Business Platform, a business management system for inventory, sales, purchasing and reporting. Alongside it we build CBE Employees Uniform, a uniform management platform; E-Ticketing, a ticketing and dispatch platform for bus terminals; and GuardAssist AI, an AI-powered security assistance solution.
Mission
To give businesses dependable software and practical AI that make everyday operations clearer and easier to run.
Vision
Technology built in Ethiopia that businesses here, and beyond, can rely on.
Engineering philosophy
Four principles guide how we design and build.
Start from the business problem
We begin with how work is actually done, then choose the simplest technology that solves it well.
Keep systems simple and clear
Clear structure beats cleverness. Simple systems are easier to use, to secure and to maintain.
Be careful with data
Business data is sensitive. We validate inputs, limit access and treat security as a default, not an add-on.
Build for the long term
We write maintainable, well-tested software so products can keep improving without breaking what already works.
Enterprise software focus · AI and technology direction · Built with Ethiopian businesses in mind
Enterprise software focus
Our products are designed for organisations that need structure: several branches, several users, clear roles and permissions, and reports they can rely on. IBP is built around that kind of operational reality.
AI and technology direction
Alongside enterprise software, we are building AI-powered solutions. Our approach is practical: identify a real business problem first, then apply AI where it genuinely helps — with the same standards for reliability and security as everything else we build.
Built with Ethiopian businesses in mind
Being based in Addis Ababa shapes how we work. This website is available in English and Amharic, and IBP pricing is published in Ethiopian birr (ETB).
